Hi Everyone

Since our last post looking for someone to look after our labrador over Christmas (We found a lovely new friend Tracey who is going to spoil her rotten over Xmas!) we have had a new addition to our family! 

Last week we rescued a 5 month old Puppy from a farm in Rota - but we are going home for the Christmas break- so we need someone to look after him!

 He’s a Bodeguero - similar to a jack russell -  very sweet, in good health and as good with kids as a Labrador!

 If anyone has any ideas other than kennels then please do let me know! Thanks so much.....

I have been on the mailing list of ThinkSPAIN and noticed a few properties that have come up for sale in Arcos de la Frontera.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me why properties appear to be really good value (cheap) I appreciate that the ones I have seen look tired and need some TLC but they seem too good to be true.  This would be a holiday home so is there any downside of leaving a property for weeks empty in this part of the world?

I will get a flight over to look in the flesh but I noticed the flights appear to be limited (Jerez) this time of year.  Is it just Ryan Air and Easy jet (Seville) that fly to this part of the world.

Lastly, is it easy to get a decorator / kitchen suppliers / builder to do works? (I would need all three for the apartment I like)

Can anyone recommend an English speaking solicitor in the Cadiz province? We need someone who can certify our passports..... or if not, just recommend a good spanish solicitor and we can get it translated?!!? Thanks in advance...

Last year, this wonderful website helped me find a people mover rental at Murcia Airport, a company called Flamenca Car Rental, such a fantastic company to use, but they don't cover Costa De La Luz, they gave a price and that's what we paid, the hire agreement was done, on line, before we even arrived, no waiting, on our way within 20 minutes.

Are there any similar car rental companies, we could use at  Jerez Airport in August '20?

We are in the countryside between Jerez and El Puerto. Many times we see a thin but more than 1 meter long snake or the skin it has shed in the garden. I would like to know what kind it /they are (there are small ones too, 30cms long, young ones I think) and if they are dangerous. I very nearly stepped on one once. It did not attack but slid away from me. Photo below

Ideally we would love to find someone who's home she could go and stay in, but worst case a great kennel. She's very fond of humans, in particular children, so really we would love for her just to go and stay with a family for the time so they could all love each other!!

Any suggestions would be massively appreciated!
