Hi all, its a little later than i had originally planned, but we are now planning to make our move early in 2023 (hopefully January). I am now looking at the process of applying for a non-lucrative visa (NLV). We are a US couple and i have looked at the requirements and forms needed on the web site of the Spanish Consulate in New York. It actually looks pretty simple and that we meet the requirements. Part of me says, just fill out the forms ourselves. Another part of me says hire an expert because things that looks simple often  are not.  Any advice?

I am looking to rent a house in Sanlucar for 2 months, starting at the end of June. We are a couple, a writer and a musician, with an adorable cat. The house has to be totally furbished. Apart of piano, computers and books, we don`t bring anything.

I am in the process of gradually retiring as a Prof in the UK and spending more time M-S. Is there any chance of getting a cheap 2nd hand Spanish registered cars to keep at the house, as hire car and taxi prices are getting so expensive? Does anyone have an old "banger" that they would like to get rid of? Or would anyone like to see if it is feasible to form a car club where we take it in turns to pick up from airports?
