(Bit embarressed to ask this, but....😄)

Will be staying in Conil this summer....for the first time. The town looks absolutely wonderful.

Everyone praises the area's many fish-restaurants. And I know the whole area has a lot to offer in that category....

But - I don't like fish that much......

I love italian, chinese/oriental food - and tapas of course.

How about these types of food in Conil? I guess, there's plenty of Tapas possibilities...but the rest?

We will be staying at Fuerte Conil.😊

I am looking for a charity in the Cadiz area which supports refugees. I have heard that they exist - maybe linked to the Catholic church - but haven't managed to find any contacts.

Hope you can help. We are coming out the end of May to our villa for 3 months. Do any of the hotels have gym facilities where they allow a temporary membership for members of the public to use their facilities.

Hi I’ve just joined the forum. I’m thinking of buying a property in Chiclana (Barossa) to spend the winter there to begin with. I’m currently in Dublin and I’ve been looking online. There’s lots of options to buy and I know so little about the Spanish tax system for properties etc. I’m thinking of maybe renting a place for a few months to check out the place and see where I like! We found this cat (we named him Cuddles) a few days ago alone and crying. We took him to Ristori vets in Chipiona who confirmed his health and that he did not have a microchip. As we already have four cats we are looking to rehome him. He is very affectionate and loves nothing more than to be around people. We are in Chipiona but are prepared to travel if we can find his “forever” home. If anyone is interested or has any helpful suggestions please call 696127073. Many thanks.

Where can I find a dry cle

Does anyone know of a local taxi service we can use around La Alcaidesa itself during the summer? e.g. From the Links Golf club to Loma del Rey.

Taxis are always difficult to find in Alcaidesa. Most taxi services only want transfers to malaga or Gib, and we need something local as we have young kids and it is a bit of a walk down to Loma del rey for an evening.
