Suggestions for best area to buy a Villa please - 3 replies

Emmy Posted by Emmy in General property discussion in Chiclana de la Frontera on Fri Jun 12, 2020 3:41pm

Hi,

My husband and I are planning on buying a Villa in the Chiclana area early next year. We’ve done the usual internet searches for properties that appeal to us 3 Bes/2 Bath with pool and noticed that there seem to be many different areas within Chiclana.

We will be flying out for a proper recky once the quarantine restrictions have been lifted but in the meantime wondered if anyone had some suggestions for the nicest areas please. We would like to be near to shops, restaurants and community but at the same time we like the countryside...not asking too much are we? 😉

Any recommendations and advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks all

Life in Sanlucar? - 0 replies

Poste2sarah Posted by Poste2sarah in General Sanlúcar de Barrameda discussion on Sat May 30, 2020 12:22pm

Hi everyone!

We’re a couple in our early fifties and are thinking of moving to Sanlucar this year as there might be the possibility of me securing employment in the area as an English teacher. We will be coming to scout the area once the lockdown has been lifted and international travel is allowed.

I would love to hear from people who live in the area who can give me some insights as to what it’s like to live there.. renting, cost of living, people, quality of life etc.

We would be looking to rent in our first year with a view to purchasing if we feel that Sanlucar is for us. We are interested in culture, food, markets and of course being in the sun!

Any tips, advice and pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 😊

RANKED: The 5 coastlines of Spain’s Andalucia ALL worth a visit in 2020 - 0 replies

ANDALUCIA is truly a magical place.  The southernmost region of Spain, it boasts world-renowned beaches, stunning landscapes and heaps of historical sites spanning millennia. It’s no surprise that, away from inland gems like Ronda, Cordoba and Sevilla, its coastal resorts are a hit with tourists. Spanning from the Portugal border in Huelva right up to […]

Music for a musician-advice please! - 1 replies

mikeymd Posted by mikeymd in General Chiclana de la Frontera discussion on Thu May 21, 2020 7:53pm

Hi all. I'm intending to move to the area once a family situation reaches its inevitable conclusion and would very much like to hear opinions and advice from the hive mind. I'm a musician and am interested in knowing what live music is happening in and around Chiclana. All styles (except keyboard/backing track singers, and karaoke). I'm classically trained but am equally happy playing salsa and jazz, and am also equally happy reading or playing by ear. Many thtanks.

Mike
