Hi

In order to obtain the residence permit i need to show that I have health insurance and ensure registration with the census of the place of residence in Spain ("empadronamiento"). I have a place in Conil.

Does anyone know if this can be done in Conil or would i have to go to Cadiz?

Also would you advise any other documents to take along and whether an appointment is needed?

Hi, we are looking to purchase a property in and around the Conil / Chiclana areas. 

Although we live in the UK we are looking to spend around 8 months of the year in Spain. We always stay in Roche and would like to buy there however, we are a little worried about the lack of activity in Roche during the quieter months. We have also looked at options around Chiclana / La Barossa. 

Our interests are dog walking, tennis and Padel tennis.

Any thoughts or recommendations welcomed.

Does anyone know of an English speaking doctor I can register with in Sanlucar de Barrameda?

Hi - can anybody recommend a 'free serve' satellite dish package (supplier?) for Sanlucar de Barrameda that could cover the basic BBC Channels and other basic national European channels i.e. Spanish, French etc..

Since I have had a package through SKY in the UK it has touched all the bases but nor sure about the Costa de la Luz with reception etc.. Thanks, Andy Husain

I'm hoping to spend winter in Conil as I did last year.

We plan to leave UK 26/12 and return 26/3.

We have a house booked to rent in El Palmar.

Assuming UK comes out of lockdown at the beginning of December, am I able to drive to the municipality and stay for 3 months before returning?

I understand nighttime curfews but am finding it hard to get advice re whether travel is 'allowed' in Spain.

Would be most grateful for any replies.

I was wondering if Vejer de la Frontera is accessible to people with second home in Vejer (I plan to travel 1511...)?

And once in Vejer is it allowed to go by car to El Palmar for walks on the beach ?

Would anyone be able to recommend a good dentist here in Chiclana?  I have a Spanish medical card but as far as I'm aware dental work is not covered by this.

In any case, I'm in a lot of pain and would appreciate any feedback re decent dentists in the area (before I resort to string and a door handle |-D )
