Hi all! Thank you for accepting me in this forum. Most forums are very educational because of the word of mouth and personal experiences. I am looking into to buying in Chiclana. I've read enough and researched about the area. I am not in a rush since I am already living in both Spain and the US at this time and loving it. Hubby and I considering fully moving in Spain in the future. We've falling in love with Chiclana houses with front yards/gardens. But it seems most are "illegal" and we don't want to get into such no return position. But we definitely want a house with some greenary. I've looked to see previous questions about this so I don't repeat, but don't see much information about this issue. Anybody knows which homes to avoid purchasing in Chiclana and in which areas? Or, how to tell if a home is illegal or not? Definitely plan to hire a lawyer for this matter. Old age on planet earth tells me prevention is the key to avoid future problems. Any advice will be appreciated. I am fluent on both Spanish and English. Agradezco consejos en los dos Idiomas. Gracias a todos.

Hi, I'm looking for any advice on how to play tennis around the Chiclana area. I know there are a few clubs in the area so wondering what is the best way to go about it... ie join club? & also how to go about arranging games. 

Any info would be gratefullly received.

Hi. Have property in La Barossa. Which is the best/most efficient/ easiest bank to use and preferably easy to get to (eg in Chiclana or Santi Petri/La Barossa rather than further away. Many thanks for any opinions, Alan.

Beware if visiting Medina Sidona and parking in the car park as on returning to our car after paying a man in there we were confronted by him telling us we had a flat tyre, on looking saw a screw had been put in the tyre and the tyre had been let down. Another man appeared and said he could fix it with a can of spray. This was obviously a con between the two men. On inspection we saw the screw had been placed not too far into tyre so was able to pump air into the tyre to take us home. Confronted the two men and told them had videod them and they quickley exited the car park. Another lady in car park said the same thing had happened to her but didnt realise it was a con. Just beware on going into car park as it would seem it is safer parking on the road and walking up.
