Property prices in Algarve are excessive, rising year on year. We sold last year to try UK (after 20yrs away) but hated it. Now cant afford Algarve so looking at Spain. We have EU residence through Portugal which will have to be changed to Spain.

Are property prices dropping in the area as I see many reduced prices?

Any recomendations for a reliable Estate lawyer?

We have just returned home from our fact-finding trip to the area. It’s all very Spanish, we found the locals extremely friendly & helpful. Happily there was hardly any humidity, far less than where we live, and the evenings far far cooler. All in all the summer climate would suit us fine.

We saw a couple of properties with Glyn Lewis and would second the recommendation. He was friendly and attentive without being pushy
