Hi,

My partner and I are hoping to move to Chiclana next year.  This seems like a really useful and friendly forum, so I hope you don't mind us signing up in advance. We are hoping to learn a bit more about the place and people, perhaps pick up some tips, ask a few questions (probably lots of questions) and just get to know you all a little.

We are middle aged ish. I am a senior web dev and my partner is a photographer and artist.  We have a very cute cat called Catorce. We're currently living in Nottingham, UK. Many years ago I lived in Valencia helping to run a youth hostel so I speak a little Spanish. We are spending a lot of time on duolingo to learn more and brush up.

Nice to meet you - speak soon!

Cheers, Martin

Hi Martin,

feel free to ask me anything you want to know, especially about houses as I'm an Architect in Spain and the UK.

Regards,

Fran.

Hi Fran,

Thank you, nice to meet you :-)

We might well have a few house related questions comin' up. We're coming over in early spring for a few weeks to check out the area (I have only been in Cádiz centre until now)  and to give us a chance to see whats available and affordable for us.

I am jealous of your profession, Andalucía must be an inspirational place to live for an architect!
