Aircon electrical problem

Can anyone recommend someone who can sort out what I suspect is a minor electrical problem on an airconditioning unit?
Symptom : When I plug my aircon unit into my electrical circuit, it trips the circuit breaker. I suspect a short somewhere in the unit's internal wiring.
