Steve,

We have worked with a few different general works contractors and structural contractors here in Chiclana and can guide you on which ones would be best for you, but can you give me more information on the description of works and its setting?

HI Adrian.

Thanks for the response.

There are large cracks appearing to predominantly to one side of the villa external walls and you can see by the external path that immediately surrounds the house that there is evidence of subsidence to the tile covering. There are also cracks appearing in the ceilings to the opposite side of the property, suggesting movement.

The house is approx 13 years old. The cracking seems to have started about a year ago. I know the substructure around the area is mostly sand.

I'd appreciate ant advice you can offer.

Regards.

Steve.

Morning Steve,

Sorry for the late reply as I was away from the office for the past few days.

Yes I agree, it sounds like structural subsidence of some form. I will pass on this information to a contractor I have worked with here in Chiclana on 2 separate new builds and establish whether he has experience in underpinning.

Il keep you informed and hoefully he will respons to me quickly.

Adrian

Steve,

I spoke with an English contractor this morning whom i have worked with in the best and briefly described your situation and he spoke with great confidence and experience on what the problem might be and more importantly, the solutions. I would suggested you make contact with him yourself and his company and discuss in more detail.
