Hi!  We are newbie British expats here after twenty years in Thailand, and we are looking for somewhere to rent for the next 3 months to a year or more in or within an hour's drive of Jerez. 3 beds would be great but would certainly consider 2.  A parking space would be a mega help and an outside area of some kind would complete the deal!  We would be happy to pay up to 500 euros per month, and would also be happy to pay something like six months up front for the right place.  Anybody got any ideas, or, better still, anywhere we could call home and be happy with?  Let us know, please, and we will get back to you asap.  Thanks in advance - Linda and Henry.

Hello, people! I’m living in Jerez until the middle of next year. My wife and parents-in-law are Spanish. Our 11 yo is attending school here. My wife is back in Australia running our Spanish restaurant. I’m looking after our son and my adorable - but 81 yo - parents-in-law.  I can get by in Spanish, but will be studying it and going to some swap languages bars to learn more. I need some friends! I need to get out of the house!  I have a car, but would probably prefer to meet up in Jerez. Let me know.

I want to share a plan that I have in the works, one that has been  buzzing around in my head for  a very long time.  I have come across a superb 5 bedroom house each with their private bathrooms , lovely grounds, large peaceful living rooms..etc etc. a stone's throw from the Ferier grounds and Hotel Jerez. It is up for rent and I am hoping to offer a community lifestyle under one roof to couples or individuals who are facing difficulties,presently or in the future and will be needing help to some degree with every day living.This place will offer help as a collective group, some of us have know eachother over the years and realize we are not too far from the signs of aging ourselves. So essentially, preparing a place  for ourselves for the future. 

This has been a vision of mine for a long time and I know there isn't a Community Living like this available in Jerez, and while we are able, hope that those who will realize the importance of a "with one we do little, together we do more" attitude, will benefit from security and comfort of a home we will create together.Obviously I would like to share my vision with a select group to fill the rooms. There are 2 more couples to complete a comfortable group of like minded individuals.If interested, I would continue the discussion and details and happy to answer any questions. I am open to ideas and opinions. 

Thinking of moving to area. Live near Antequera have done for last year. As title say, Hot. So considering a move to somewhere less hot, may be, but at least has a fresher breeze. So looking to all you good people for your thoughts and how you have settled in. Thank you.
