Hi be good to know what Spanish bank people recommend?

We have Cajamar's Wefferent online account. You need to open in branch, and keep a small minimum balance, then the rest of your banking is electronic and charge-free. You will pay for any face-to-face in branch services.
We also use Transferwise for currency exchange.
Decide what your requirements are and do your due diligence. Some banks have a heavy charging system.
