Hi Alexane,

There is a Language School in Medina called Capital English School which is run by an English lady called Becky Moon. I've been going to Medina each year for a couple of months over the last number of years and have had Spanish lessons there. They cost around €20 an hour and are professionally run. Your best bet is to call into the school when you are in town and inquire there and then which is what I did. Knowing some spanish is absolutely necessary to live in Medina as very few there speak english. The locals are very accommodating, helpful and are indeed patient with me when I visit shops, restaurants and banks etc but throwing in a sentence or two of spanish always helps greatly.

If you have any other questions that you think I could help you with then don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards

Declan

Hi Alexane, if you are still interested in Medina there are Spanish classes for foreigners, we just moved here and my husband joined one group. It's for free. They take place in "escuela de adulto".

Hola, maybe I´m a bit late but I´ve just found this forum. I´m working as Spanish teacher in Chiclana and I do lessons in Medina Sidonia every Monday.  Hope I can help you.

Un saludo!

Paloma
