I must say I have found this forum very helpful , im looking at the most economical way to furnish my new apartment in jerez ? Ideally I would use a company or person who has a vehicle of Mercedes’  sprinter size to drive from london to jerez with furniture purchased and accumulated in the uk , Im wondering if this is cost effective as appose  to buying all new furniture in jerez against all costs  involved in having someone bring furniture from the uk , any advice and or recommendations greatly appreciated thank y

There are plenty of second hand sites in Spain/Costa de la Luz/Jerez on the web. I would have thought the cost to ship/send stuff from London to Spain is quite a bit and risky.

check out the websites first and see the prices. London furniture does not necessarily fit a Spanish house. And it the place is tall and narrow that could be an issue installing the furniture.

English antiques do not do well in the heat of Spain and one is spoilt for choice if one buys in Andalucia. IKEA is in Jerez and there are tons of people only too willing to put IKEA pieces of furniture together for you. Not to mention Casa etc.

Second hand Rose…..
