Buying home

I'd suggest thoroughly researching estate agents' websites first to get a feel for what you can get for your budget.  Beachfront properties are very expensive and demand is high in the Costa de la Luz so don't expect a bargain! 

If you're happy with a beachfront apartment then Cádiz or El Puerto de Santa María would be good places to look. If you want a detached house then Chiclana eastwards (to Conil and beyond) would be better.

In terms of where to stay over Xmas / New Year, again it depends on where you're searching! Decide that first and then you'll have a better idea of where to base yourselves.
