Hello
I am currently on holiday and have a half finished root canal treatment tgat I was told by my dentist would be ok until I was home....he was wrong.
I am in so much pain and no pain killers are helping. Can anyone tell me where a local emergency dentist is please and if they can give me root canal or prescribe me anti-biotics to last me till I get back to the UK?

This happened to me in the UK and no painkillers will help this kind of pain. All I would say is, at least you can go into any Farmacia in Spain and they will sell you Antibiotics. They are generally very good if you explain the problem (use Google translate if you can't speak Spanish and write a few things down) If you are not penicillin allergic then they will probably prescribe you Amoxillin.
You no doubt will need the root canal finished soon as it sounds like it's infected still, but ideally the antibiotics need to clear the infection first.
Hope you get some relief soon. I do know how awful that is.
