Get to know people

Morning Nathalie,

I would recommend joining the Chiclana walk and talk group, as there is many nationalities that attend whom speak English and are keen to get to know people and the area. It was very helpful for my wife and I when we moved over 2 years ago.

The group normally meet twice a week Wednesday & Fridays at 11:00am by the Red cross building on La Barbarossa promenade. Normally walk the beach for 30mins followed by a coffee.

I highly recommend the group, as I have met some great people of all nationalities.

Hello Adrian thank you for this suggestion sounds good, we will be house hunting this november and maybe take a walk with the group allready. We attent to move comming spring so then we can walk twice a week. Hope to meet you and your wife there then. Are the walk and talk still meeting we would like to join them is it ok to bring our dog thanks karen reeve

Yes they are still meeting, you can check on their facebook page for dates and times, usually Wednesday & Friday at 11am. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the beach but are permitted on the promenade.
