Hi everyone, just wondering if there have been tighter restrictions on dog walking as the guardia stopped me today saying I need to stay next to my home. I have little Spanish so could not converse so really just need clarification.

Thank you.

Hi

I believe they are saying that you need to be within 50 meters of your home. I overheard a conversation between two dog owners a couple of days ago discussing this very topic. I hope this helps

Stay safe Paul

Thank you so much for your quick response. Had tried to find info about it yesterday but couldn't so much appreciate your response.

Be safe, keep well.

Hi, yes I'm afraid so.  Dogs only allowed out just to do their business and as near your home as possible.  You are not allowed to 'walk' as such any more.  Just in case you are not aware, the extension of Lockdown is, at the moment, set to 26-April. It's hard for furries now, especially if they have no garden! Do be careful, because the fines are harsh.  Keep well & keep smiling ......

Thank you, yes we try to keep aware of updates as much as possible. Our dog is struggling as used to at least 2 decent walks a day. He hates soiling in his own space bless him. We are keeping safe and following the rules. My husband went out yesterday to get his monthly prescription but we don't go anywhere unless absolutely necessary. Thanks again, you keep safe too.
