I can't comment from a cyclists point of view, but only as a motorcyclist and car driver.

The A2228 from Benalup is quite twisty with poor overtaking opportunities and narrow margins, generally not too busy.

Then the A396 is wide and fast. Uphill all the way back.

The junction of A396 and N340 is very busy in the summer, and not easy to negotiate in any mode.

Closest beach would be Barbate, A314, mostly wide, but very busy and lots of side turnings, both private drives and roads.

There are quieter roads from the N340 to beaches north of Barbate, either up into Vejer and down through the forest to Canos de Meca, or through Montecote to El Palmar and Zahora.

I think you need to be a very  serious and experienced cyclist to enjoy the journey, especially in 30 degree plus temperatures.
