Hi
In order to obtain the residence permit i need to show that I have health insurance and ensure registration with the census of the place of residence in Spain ("empadronamiento"). I have a place in Conil.
Does anyone know if this can be done in Conil or would i have to go to Cadiz?
Also would you advise any other documents to take along and whether an appointment is needed?

Hi Mark
To register in Arcos, all I needed was my passport and proof of address (in the form of a rental contract). I did it in the local town hall so I guess that so long as there is one in Conil then you'd be able to go there. I'm going to have to go back because my lawyer has since advised I should have asked for an empadronamiento colectivo
