Hi everyone thank you for letting me join. I am very interested in moving to arcos. I currently already line in Spain in Cordoba province. I see that the beach at arcos is not dog friendly. Are there other areas around the lake where dogs are permitted?

We go for days out to La Suara, near La Barca de la Florida. It's a big patch of forest with a recreation and picnic area at one end. There are a lot of trails and footpaths you can follow, and the dog can run free without too many worries if problems. There are not a lot of other walkers - sometimes some cyclists.

There are many wonderful walking trails and parks for dogs in Arcos. The pine forest (el Pinar) is one of the best and the lake has foot paths as well. It’s just the sand beach where there are no dogs. We have an active WhatsApp group in Arcos and there are many dog owners on it.
