Home for two cute dogs?

Hi

I realize this might not be the right forum for this, but I'll try anyways.

We came home after a couple of days away and found two cute stray dogs at our door step.

They are very friendly, although a bit shy still. They were starving and clearly in the need of care.

Unfortunately we cannot keep them, as we travel often and would find it difficult to leave them here.

Does anybody know of anyone looking for tow cute dogs or know of any place where they would be taken care of?

Thank you,

Mette

Hello Mette,

I volunteer at a dog shelter in a rural area near Jerez, we are pretty over run with dogs at the moment but I will be in touch with the person in charge of the intake process and let you know. It is so good of you to have taken them in. I live in a campo just on the outskirts of Jerez, near the famous landmark Finca de Toro or the Fundador distribution center. I remember you had just moved into your campo last year and had questions.

Anyway, I will be back in Jerez on the 31st and will have an answer for you then, meanwhile I will be in touch with the shelter.

Cheers,

Lesley.

Hi Lesley

Yes we have been in contact before.

That would be amazing if you could ask at the shelter. I do know that a lot of shelters are already over run, and they might be better off out in the free here until we might find a home for them. It is such a dilemma when we do travel frequently and hate to leave them behind.

I appreciate you reaching out. Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks Leslie

Sincerely,

Mette

Hi Matte,

Here is the contact info. Go to their web site.

Protectora de Animales No me Abandones Jerez.

Like I said, I am not sure if they are taking in any more but it is worth a try.

Lesley.
